Oslob Whale Watching

OSLOB

Is a small coastal town with a population of about 30,000 people. It is a hub of activity with several tourist attractions to offer to the numerous of visitors who stop by. It is most well known for being one of the best spots to swim with whale sharks as well as the Sumilon Island where one can experience the fine white sand and its beautiful sand bar. However, there are also several other attractions to check out in Oslob.

OPTION A:

– Whale Shark Encounter

• Upon arrival in Oslob, both local and foreign tourists lined up at the briefing center to share the water with the huge whale sharks, locally known as “Butanding”. Before going there, all tourists are instructed to stay away from them about 5 meters away. Thus, it is a criminal offense to touch them. These gentle giants will really make your tour very memorable.

OPTION B:

–  Sumilon Island

• The island is only a 15-20 minute private boat ride from Oslob Mainland. The sand is one of the finest and whitest one can find in the Philippines and contrasted beautifully against the clear water and surrounding reefs. It has also a fish sanctuary that you can snorkel on.
